We are currently looking for a dedicated individual to fulfill the role of Culinary Specialist. Your primary responsibility will be to plan and execute all food production on our site, delivering outstanding meals while adhering to the highest quality and safety standards.
Food Preparation
Your responsibilities will encompass ensuring timely meal preparation and delivery, managing grocery orders to secure the correct quantity and quality of products, and maintaining facilities and equipment in compliance with regulations. You will also be tasked with meal preparation and cleanup duties.
Planning and Budgeting
You will be responsible for menu planning while efficiently managing food and equipment needs for the kitchen. This includes verifying the quantity and quality of received products, reporting any discrepancies to your supervisor, and documenting production and operational data on designated forms. You will also estimate the necessary supplies, from food to ingredients, and handle ordering or requisitioning to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
The current schedule consists of seven consecutive days of work followed by seven days off, with each working day comprising 10 hours. You will be responsible for preparing hot lunch and dinner, as well as continental breakfast items for the following morning.
What You Need to Succeed
Required qualifications and skills include a minimum of 3 years of experience in a related environment, with hands-on experience in a high-volume catering setting. Your ability to anticipate and resolve issues, combined with strong organizational skills, will be essential. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, will enable you to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels of our organization.
