Job Overview:

Our Assistant Culinary Leaders possess a strong background in high-pressure kitchen environments and are skilled in the recruitment, training, and overall management of culinary teams. They are actively involved in both cooking and team management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Articulates the restaurant's vision to all team members and exemplifies leadership. Daily reinforces company values and inspires the team with a compelling vision for the restaurant's future.
  • Regularly oversees kitchen operations and maintains cleanliness standards.
  • Fosters and sustains relationships with team members and front-of-house management.
  • Adheres to proper ordering, inventory, and receiving protocols.
  • Exhibits leadership in cultivating a culture centered around the enjoyment and appreciation of food and culinary arts.
  • Demonstrates high personal integrity and business ethics, promoting the restaurant at every opportunity.
  • Conducts recruitment, training, and performance management initiatives, along with employee coaching.
  • Employs conflict resolution and problem-solving skills effectively.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience as a Sous Chef or Chef de Cuisine in a comparable setting.
  • Strong passion for culinary excellence.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Visionary with strong discipline.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships; excellent team leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Known for meticulous attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication skills across all organizational levels.
  • Thrives in a performance-driven culture.
  • Hands-on approach and motivates others by setting a positive example.
  • Reliable transportation is required.

Compensation Package: Includes base salary, gratuities, dining allowance, uniform allowance, and extended health and dental benefits.
