Job Description

We are in search of an experienced, strategic, and forward-thinking professional to join our dynamic team as the Director of Vitality Distribution. As the Director of Vitality Distribution, you will be in charge of shaping and implementing a comprehensive distribution strategy, expanding market presence, and building strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders. Your leadership, industry knowledge, and strategic insights will be crucial in establishing Manulife as the leading player in the Canadian retail insurance sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a robust distribution strategy for Vitality by identifying market opportunities, setting clear objectives, and implementing initiatives to drive market penetration and revenue growth.
  • Nurture strong relationships with key partners and distributors, leveraging a deep understanding of their unique needs and market dynamics to position Vitality for success, sustained growth, and market leadership.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment and maximize the effectiveness of distribution efforts, driving innovation and meeting market demands.
  • Analyze market trends and customer insights to inform strategic decision-making and business development initiatives.
  • Create and present distribution reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior leadership to drive continuous improvement and achieve targets.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated success in insurance distribution with a focus on health and wellness, showing a solid understanding of the market, distribution channels, and effective sales tactics.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and relationship management skills to lead teams, collaborate with stakeholders, and negotiate partnerships effectively.
  • Strategic mindset and results-driven approach to develop and execute distribution strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field; additional qualifications and experience in wholesale distribution and business development are advantageous.
  • Ability to travel frequently within Canada.
