We are hiring for a Food Runner, Wildlight Kitchen + Bar at our location in Vancouver, BC near the UBC area.


You will be responsible for:

  • Serving orders by picking up and delivering guests choices from bar and kitchen, and delivering accompaniments and condiments from service area.
  • Understanding the different menu items and the service ware guests will need when they are ordered, and ensuring those items are present.
  • Preparing tables and setting decorations, condiments, candles, napkins, service plates, polishing glassware and polishing utensils.
  • Keeping kitchen staff informed by noting timing of meal progression.
  • Maintaining tables by removing courses as completed, replenishing utensils, refilling water glasses, maintaining beverage service and being alert to spills or other needs.
  • Taking instruction and providing assistance to the Chef in the kitchen.
  • Stocking and restocking service stations as needed.
  • Supporting other areas of the restaurant as necessary.

You have:

  • Minimum one year of restaurant experience.
  • Food Safe Certification.
  • Serving it Right.

  • A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly and directly with guests.
  • Detail oriented with a focus on speed and accuracy.
  • Adaptable, and able to multitask in a fastpaced environment.

$ $20.00
