OVERVIEW

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Diploma or higher (or in progress) in Environmental Science, Biological Science, Natural Resource Management, or other applicable field
  • Minimum of 1 season of previous experience completing Detailed Site Assessments on forested, cultivated, tame pasture, native grassland and/or peatland sites in Alberta and/or Saskatchewan
  • Excellent knowledge of Alberta vegetation and soils

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Initiate and prepare site packages for fieldwork
  • Execute Detailed Site Assessment fieldwork at sites throughout Alberta and Saskatchewan
  • Prepare Detailed Site Assessment reports
  • Support Reclamation Certificate Applications
  • Keep uptodate on industry guidelines
  • Create highquality content that conveys technical concepts
  • Compile, manage and analyze data that is collected by field personnel

LOCATION

  • This position will be based out of our Sherwood Park office.
