The Analyst - Indirect Tax Process and Technology is responsible for maintaining and improving processes related to indirect taxes.

Under the supervision of the Manager - Global Commodity Tax, the person will work closely with the business units, the technology department and BRP's finance team to ensure the operationalization of the changes required in the indirect tax process and underlying systems.

Proactive and organized, you will be the main point of contact for the department for all changes relating to the indirect tax process and you will have the opportunity to exploit your talents and skills by assuming the following functions and responsibilities:

YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

Maintenance and improvement of processes related to indirect taxes. This involves working closely with the teams responsible for implementing new information systems to ensure the integration of new tax tools into the indirect tax process

Responsible for maintaining the tax engines used by BRP, including OneSource

Go-to person for other team when systems changes are made impacting the indirect tax team when there are system changes or questions impacting BRP's indirect tax engines

Responsible to arrange and coordinate the required tests when changes are made to systems impacting BRP's tax engine

Coordinate extracts for indirect tax audits

Submit, follow-up and ensure realization of required changes to OneSource to ensure compliance to laws and/or BRP's operations based on the advisory team requirements

Responsible to collaborate with the Business Analyst to transfer knowledge of the configuration and the design of the tax engine

YOU'LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:3 years of relevant experience in the accounting, IT or tax field

A strong interest in information systems and technology

A bachelor's degree in administration or equivalent

Excellent French and English

Accountable, teamplayer, positive, curious and proactive.

Discretion and utmost professionalism regarding confidential information

Comfort in working with a wide array of people

Ability to manage several priority files at the same time.

Ability to understand complex situations

Any relevant experience will be considered.
