The Opportunity:
Professional Services is searching for a dynamic and resourceful individual to join our Content Practice as a Senior Practice Manager. The Senior Practice Manager has three primary areas of responsibility: managing a team of direct reports; driving revenue through the delivery of customer engagements; participating in presales opportunities and creating project estimates. This position focuses on Enterprise accounts with an emphasis on the OpenText Documentum and OpenText Content Suite product lines.

In this role, you will work closely with Professional Services Consultants and customers in the delivery of Open Text engagements, as well as with Account Executives, Solution Consultants and strategic partners throughout the sales and delivery cycles.

You're great at:

• Managing, coaching, and mentoring a team of direct reports.

• Growing your team's utilization results through staffing, scheduling, development planning and performance management.

• Providing operational thought leadership by standardizing project delivery practices.

• Demonstrating technical thought leadership on OpenText Documentum and/or OpenText Content Suite solutions.

• Offering strategic input to customers and prospects on OpenText solutions.

• Interacting with other OpenText departments, across various regions and time zones, to scope project effort, create estimates and respond to RFPs.

• Delivering customer engagements with high quality. Project delivery activities relate to the functionality of OpenText products and may involve tasks such as analysis, configuration, and/or development.

• Effectively communicating through excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Delegating tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.

What it takes:

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in a professional services management role.

• A solid technical grasp of a variety of OpenText Documentum and/or OpenText Content products.

• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

• Ability to confidently interact with both business and technical audiences.

• Utilize analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.

• Experience managing a remote team of diversely skilled consultants.

• Ability to work as part of a dynamic team.

• Self-starter and a quick learner.

• Ability to converse, read, and write in French is desirable.

• Holding a current Canadian clearance status is desirable.

• This is a revenue generating position with a billable component, measured by utilization achievement.

• Travel is a requirement of this position.

• Accroître les résultats d'utilisation de votre équipe grâce à la dotation, à la planification, à la planification du développement et à la gestion du rendement.

• Fournir un leadership éclairé opérationnel en normalisant les pratiques d'exécution des projets.

• Faire preuve de leadership technique éclairé sur les solutions OpenText Documentum et/ou OpenText Content Suite.

• Offrir une contribution stratégique aux clients et aux prospects sur les solutions OpenText.

• Interagir avec d'autres départements OpenText, dans diverses régions et fuseaux horaires, pour atteindre la portée de l'effort du projet, créer des estimations et répondre aux demandes de propositions.

• Fournir des engagements clients avec une haute qualité. Les activités de réalisation de projets se rapportent à la fonctionnalité des produits OpenText et peuvent impliquer des tâches telles que l'analyse, la configuration et / ou le développement.

• Communiquer efficacement grâce à d'excellentes compétences en communication écrite et verbale.

• Déléguer des tâches et des responsabilités au personnel approprié.

• Minimum de 8 ans d'expérience dans un rôle de gestion des services professionnels.

• Une solide compréhension technique d'une variété de produits OpenText Documentum et/ou OpenText Content.

• Solides compétences interpersonnelles et de leadership.

• Capacité d'interagir en toute confiance avec les publics commerciaux et techniques.

• Utiliser des compétences analytiques, techniques et de résolution de problèmes.

• Expérience de la gestion d'une équipe à distance de consultants diversement qualifiés.

• Capacité à travailler au sein d'une équipe dynamique.

• Auto-démarreur et un apprenant rapide.

• Il s'agit d'un rôle mondial de soutien aux clients en Amérique du Nord et nécessite une maîtrise du français et de l'anglais.

• Il est souhaitable de détenir un statut de dédouanement canadien à jour.

• Il s'agit d'un poste générateur de revenus avec une composante facturable, mesurée par la réalisation de l'utilisation.

• Les déplacements sont une exigence de ce poste.
