Main responsibilities
Plan and coordinate your team's activities, optimizing resources and means according to operational constraints; Prepare, assign and monitor the execution of maintenance work, whether planned or urgent, and ensure its quality; Manage maintenance performance in line with Sogesco's continuous improvement approach; Set long and medium-term maintenance priorities in line with maintenance policy and objectives; Update and edit weekly and monthly maintenance indicator reports; Lead the maintenance action plan and the monthly maintenance management meeting; Establish effective relations between mechanics, dispatch and management; Arbitrate leave requests according to company rules and operational needs; Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations; Keep workshop area clean and tidy (5S); Establish training plan; Conduct field tours (management); Ensure maintenance and proper operation of garage equipment and tools supplied by the company; Manage roadside breakdowns efficiently and safely; Carry out PEP inspections and mechanical maintenance of vehicles; Manage mechanical subcontracting as required; Manage work orders (opening, closing); Manage work orders in connection with an RDS and their -hour deadline; Manage warranties and follow up on manufacturer recalls; Manage vehicle files in compliance with Bill ; Manage SAAQ interceptions on the road, enter interception reports in Logisco and ensure that all legal aspects have been respected to the letter; Plan and track parts inventory; Order and receive parts and track garage products. Full-time daytime schedule | Work uniform provided | Ongoing training offered.Job type : Full-time, permanent
Salary : according to experience
Requirements
DEP in heavy vehicle mechanics; 5 years' experience in heavy vehicle mechanics; Knowledge of diesel mechanics; Knowledge of hydraulic brakes; Knowledge of Cummins, Allison, Wabco and Outlook software; Possession of PEP card; Canadian work permit (Mandatory).Required qualities
