Days, 8 hour shifts.

Basic Requirements:
- 3 year Business Administration Diploma and/or equivalent;
- Minimum two (2) years related experience;
- Intermediate Windows, Intermediate Excel, and Intermediate PowerPoint;
- Keyboarding at 45 words per minute;
- Proficiency in conducting Internet searches;
- Experience in minute taking;
- Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team;
- Demonstrated initiative and ability to prioritize, organize and work independently;
- Excellent general office and coordination skills;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills;
- Excellent analytical skills;
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast paced and busy environment;
- Excellent problem solving and decision making skills required to deal with unexpected situations and issues;
- Must be eligible to work in Canada
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in health care;
- Experience with electronic health records;
- Basic knowledge of Diabetes network in Ottawa;
- Research and evaluation experience;
- Successful completion of TOH medical terminology selfdirected learning program or certification in medical terminology from a recognized educational institution;
- Proficiency in speaking and comprehending both English and French (A level).
