Oversee and manage all aspects of trucking operations, including fleet management, driver scheduling, and route planning.Develop and implement strategies to optimize operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall performance.
Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
Maintain and manage relationships with customers, ensuring exceptional service delivery and addressing any concerns or issues.
Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure timely and effective maintenance and repair of the trucking fleet.
Actively participate in the sales process, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.
Analyze data and generate reports to track key performance indicators, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
Stay up to date with industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in trucking operations.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or a combination of education and experience
Proven experience in trucking operations management, preferably with a background in maintenance and sales.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse workforce.
Solid understanding of sales processes and the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
Proficient in using transportation management systems and other relevant software.
