Starboard Transport Inc. is urgently looking for a
Dispatcher to join our team in Brampton, ON.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the flow of inbound and outbound freight while staying abreast of daily priorities and weekly transportation targets.
  • Analyze lane data, ontime performance and costs to effectively negotiate rates with customers and thirdparty carriers
  • Communicate with brokers, drivers and the customers to resolve any discrepancies
  • Verify and troubleshoot any issues in shipping or customs documentation including, but not limited to, PODs, BOL and carrier confirmation.

Requirements:

  • Experience with dispatching in Transportation industry is an asset
  • Experience with shipping and managing customs for FTL and LTL shipments is required
  • Familiarity with North American geography
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with the aptitude to learn new software quickly
  • Problem solving and decisionmaking skills with the ability to work in a team environment
  • Multitasker

Job Types:

Salary:
$18.00-$20.00 per hour
