This includes but is not limited to alarms, extinguishers, inspections, and servicing. Based out of Red Deer, we service the entire province of Alberta.

Under the direct supervision of the Fire Systems Technician, daily task and activities include but are not limited to:

  • Conduct inspections, testing, and maintenance (at the shop and in the field)
  • Perform general shop duties
  • Occasional field work
  • Driving to client sites
  • Working with pressurized systems / chemicals
  • Detail oriented
  • Willingness to learn
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Safety driven
  • Positive attitude
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Authorized to work in Canada and possess a valid SIN
  • Be 19 years of age or older
  • Have a valid drivers licence with a minimum of 3 years driving experience
  • Be able to produce a satisfactory driving abstract
  • Be physically fit with the ability to lift 5075 lbs consistently
  • Be able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions, including working at heights
  • Be willing and able to work outdoors, in varying weather conditions
  • Be able to pass preaccess drug and alcohol testing
  • Have the following valid safety tickets:
  • Standard First Aid
  • CSTS or CSO


Applicants with NFPA 10 training, previous experience in a similar role, or have knowledge of fire protection systems and/or NFPA regulations, will be given priority selection.
