**AS OUR COMBUSTION TECHNICIAN / CLASS A GAS FITTER, YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE TO**:

- Adhere to all company Heath, Safety and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures set out by the HSE department.
- Mentor all laborers with the maintenance, replacement, and installation of equipment.
- Complete combustion and shut down reports including flame arrestor test reports.
- Ability to install, maintain and fix a variety of equipment, burners and related components, such as: propane and natural gas fired heaters, Dehy’s, Tank Heaters, Re-Boilers, Salt Bath Heaters, Incinerators, and combustors, etc.
- Prepare, plan and complete annual full emergency Shutdowns for fire heater testing.
- Provide basic instrument services and venting on combustion and emissions equipment.
- Provide commissioning start-up, testing, and tuning of units.
- Complete required documentation and compliancy for CSA certification and governing bodies.
- Complete Biennial Flame arrestor testing of fired heaters.
- Provide Custom burner and emissions tuning.
- Must have an ability to trouble shoot mechanical, electrical, instrument and combustion type issues in relation to the equipment.
- Understand safety legislation, regulations and industry policies and practice for safe work procedures.
- Can plan and execute projects to ensure proper manpower, materials and equipment are on site to complete the projects.

**QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED**:

- Valid class 5 driver’s license with a clean Drivers Abstract.
- Pre-Employment Drug and Alcohol Testing.
- H2S, First Aid Level C CPR & AED, CSTS, CSO, TDG & WHMIS.
- Gasfitter - Class A
- Previous experience in a trade such as Instrumentation, Electrical, Gas Fitting, Millwright, or a HVAC Technician in the Oil and Gas industry.
