About this team:

The Global Packaging and Labelling team is responsible for planning, designing, developing, testing, and producing end-to-end packaging and labels. We work in close partnership with cross-functional teams across the business and partners throughout supply chain.

We meet the needs of our product, guests, markets and channels in order to achieve our strategic priorities and business goals.

We ensure packaging and labelling materials are production ready and support successful product delivery.

A day in the life:


Global Packaging and Labelling Operation Team is responsible for managing the end-to-end process of packaging and labelling deliverables for global markets.

This includes identifying, managing and communicating risks and opportunities in order for the Packaging and Labelling Development and Packaging Design and Production to develop, design, review, test, order and produce all packaging and labelling data and materials.

The Program Manager has a vital role in global packaging developments and projects. This position works closely with Product team, International Supply Chain team, Brand team, and external vendors.

The Program Manager is responsible for:

  • Lead the planning and implementation of large, complex programs and strategic initiatives, including creation of project charters, implementation plans and business requirements, project delivery, and go-live and sustainment efforts
  • Leverage understanding of current state people, process and technology capabilities, knowledge of industry best practices and critical problems solving skills to identify business needs and define new and improved ways of working to develop packaging and labelling
  • Facilitate and lead workshops, and deliver updates to cross functional partners and leadership
  • Lead and oversee the planning, implementation and adoption of new and transformative packaging and labelling processes, including documentation of currentstate processes, design, implementation and ongoing operation of new processes, development of tools to monitor effectiveness of new processes, and support in establishing connectivity across current and new processes to deliver operating model transformation
  • Deliver regular program updates to crossfunctional partners and leaders
  • Create an environment where people can perform at their best, grow through continual development and achieve outstanding results
  • Oversee all incoming and outgoing project documentation and SOP
  • Lead the maintenance and optimization of the Packaging and Labelling Operating Calendar

Qualifications:

  • BBA, Bcomm, Diploma in Business or related field
  • PMP certification required
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in project management, strategy, operations or related professional industry experience
  • Proven ability to coach, mentor and teach junior team members
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Programs, mastery in Excel
  • Mastery in project management tools and software, Smartsheet preferred
  • Working knowledge of PowerBI
  • Demonstrated experience in design and delivery of complex, multistream programs and projects, including preparation of project charters, delivery plans and status updates, facilitation of workshops and crossfunctional meetings and coordination of change and training efforts
  • Ability to multitask and manage various projects simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy and organization skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to present to Senior Leadership
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across multiple cross functional teams. Ability to create alignment and reach consensus
  • Ability to clearly communicate objectives and give clear direction to achieve deliverables
  • Knowledge of cycle management terminology and retail/product/ packaging development terminology an asset
  • Financial acumen and understanding of business math.
  • Ability to understand financial impacts on long range plans and make financially sound recommendations to leadership
  • Demonstrated ability in operational problem solving and longrange planning and problem solving
  • Mastery with data management. Proven experience in design and management of project documents, including project charters, implementation plans and business requirements

  • Flexible hours to accommodate meetings with different time zones
