Communications Manager

Apex Systems is currently on the lookout for a Communications Manager with over 7 years of experience in Communications and Writing, exposure to enterprise environments, and preferably some background in the banking sector. This role is intended for placement at our client, a prominent North American bank.

Client: Top Global Bank

Contract: Ongoing one-year contract basis

Location: Toronto, Downtown Core

Responsibilities:

  • Development of Communication Strategies: Creating detailed communication plans that are in line with the organization's objectives and goals.
  • Identification of target audiences, crafting key messages, and selecting suitable communication channels.
  • Managing Content Creation & Presentations: Handling the development of materials for Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), new project introductions, project updates, and more.
  • Supervising the production and dissemination of various communication materials, including writing, editing, and reviewing content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with business goals.
  • Establishing internal communications and devising strategies to improve communication processes within the organization, ensuring that employees are well-informed about business updates and initiatives. This may involve creating employee newsletters or overseeing internal communication platforms.
  • Collaborating with different business divisions within the organization to guarantee alignment and integration of initiative endeavors.

Key Qualifications:

  • Over 7 years of experience in Communications or Technical Writing roles.
  • Demonstrated expertise in technical writing and experience in producing materials such as QBRs, PowerPoint presentations, newsletters, etc.
  • Proficiency in content design and the ability to work with Microsoft Suites.
  • Capability to meet and work with multiple teams within the business line to gather necessary information.
  • Excellent time management and project management abilities.
