We are currently looking for a Storyboard Supervisor for our busy Toronto studio.

The Storyboard Supervisor leads their team effectively and efficiently in order to complete the production within the time frame required.


Key Responsibilities

  • You will be required to storyboard episodes along with the rest of the storyboard team.
  • You will line manage the other Storyboard Artists.
  • You will work closely with the Director and Assistant Director to ensure the rest of the team are all keeping to the style of the show.
  • You will create script notes detailing what is required of the storyboard for each episode.
  • Responsible for launching episodes to the storyboard artists, communicating the specific requirements of each episode.
  • You'll review and make detailed notes on each storyboard pass, and make revisions when needed.

Key Requirements

  • Must have at least 2 years' experience working as a Storyboard Supervisor (or similar position) in either broadcast or feature film work.
  • Superior knowledge of Toon Boom Storyboard Pro 20.
  • A good understanding of cinematography and staging
  • Must be familiar with 2D staging and limitations.
  • Strong drawing skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Task Driven, selfmotivated, and proactive.
  • Must be open to direction.
  • Ability to work collaboratively on multiple tasks in a fastpaced production environment.
