Responsibilities:

New York Institute of Technology, Vancouver Campus is seeking part-time
Adjunct Professors of Energy Management.


The incumbent will primarily teach graduate courses in the Master of Science in Energy Management program at NYIT's Vancouver Campus.


One position is currently available to teach a High-Performance Building Envelopes course (ENGY 718) during the Summer 2024 session that runs from May 21, 2024, through July 15, 2024.

Classes are scheduled Thursday evenings (6-9pm) and Saturday afternoons (1-4pm). Success in teaching this first semester will lead to opportunities to teach other courses in the future.

Qualifications:
Master's degree minimum, Ph.
D. preferred. Knowledgeable in building science. Experience in modelling, designing and/or assessing building envelopes. Working knowledge of the BC Energy Step Code. Experience in using modelling software to assess high-performance building envelope components such as walls and windows. Must be able to work in person in Vancouver starting May 23rd.
