Pillar5 Pharma Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our Finance Department as a Payroll and Accounting Administrator. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll and maintaining financial records.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Process payroll for all employees, including calculating wages, deductions, benefits entitlements, and overtime.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and employee information.
  • Provide information and answer employee inquiries about payroll related matters.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, provincial, and local payroll regulations.
  • Assist with payroll tax filings and reporting.
  • Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Assist with monthend and yearend financial closing activities.
  • Support the Finance team with various accounting tasks as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience in payroll administration and/or accounting.
  • Degree in business administration, finance, or accounting preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll processes and regulations.
  • Proficiency in using ADP payroll software and MS Office.
  • Experience working with SAP system is considered an asset.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
To be successful in this role, you must have a good understanding of payroll processes and regulations.
