Senior Specialist, Information Security Governance – HybridThe Senior Specialist, Information Security Governance will provide technical leadership and expertise to evolve AER's Information Security posture. This role focuses on defining, assessing, and maturing the organization's cybersecurity acumen, compliance, and controls. The Senior Specialist is responsible for defining, managing, and optimizing the Information Security framework and controls.
Lead Information Security Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC)
Framework:
Drive the evolution of AER's Information Security GRC framework.
Collaborate with business and technology risk and control owners.
Develop and Implement Information Security GRC Practices:
Define and implement suitable controls.
Risk Management:
Identify and evaluate risks to AER's IT services.
Develop and implement risk management strategies.
Conduct regular risk assessments and audits.
Formulate policies and implement measures to mitigate identified risks.
Build content, hold workshops, and update cross-functional teams and management on emerging security threats and practices.
Demonstrated progressive skill development and responsibility in cybersecurity and IT governance.

Identifying and managing potential security threats.
~ Information Governance:
Managing the information lifecycle and ensuring data integrity.
~ IT Risk &
Compliance Management:
Ensuring IT systems comply with regulatory requirements and managing associated risks.
Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) is required .
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) is required.
Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT) is an asset.
Required Travel 1-12 times per year, maximum overnights are two.
