RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Prepare coffee flavours using recipes and follow Company specifications.
  • Prepare flavoured coffee with a high degree of accuracy and quality in accordance with any relevant procedures, work instructions and/or technical specifications.
  • Liaise on a regular basis with the Quality Control Lab.
  • Take flavoured samples to laboratory for Quality Control inspection at planned intervals or when product conformance is in question.
  • Maintain regular communication with Plant Manager & Production Supervisor regarding flavouring status.
  • Assist in preparing, monitoring and maintaining the flavour extract inventory.
  • Responsible for grinding flavoured coffee when necessary.
  • Ensure the lot numbers match with the work orders.
  • Organize, maintain, clean and secure flavouring area on an ongoing basis.
  • Protect the confidentiality of recipes.
  • Clean grinder, silos, drums, AJ mixer at specified times.
  • Ensure machinery is in good operating condition and/or report a problem to the appropriate individual.
  • Ensure housekeeping is maintained on a daily basis.
  • Work safely and ensure health and safety is of paramount importance.
  • Conduct monthly inventory.
  • Assist with material handling (bring raw materials to production area).
  • All other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Completion of high school diploma and/or equivalent.
  • 2 years' experience operating a machine in a manufacturing and/or production environment is preferred
  • Food and beverage experience strongly preferred.
  • Able to handle multiple deadlines.
  • Teamplayer
  • Good verbal and written communications skills.
  • Ability to work well within a team and independently.
