Under the direction of the Office Manager, Dealer Commissions (Contract) is responsible for registering all insurance certificates received from our dealerships for their previous month's sales.

Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 9:00am to 6:00pm and Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm.

Responsibilities:

  • Daily entry and underwriting of all certificates received as they are registered.
  • Recognize and respond to all errors and warnings including: failed rate test, form maximums (including but not limited to over financing, over age etc), dealer licensing, missing birthdates, incorrect form usage, information disclosure errors, waiver errors, unsigned certificates, printing alignment errors and more.
  • Correspond with dealerships (both written and verbal) regarding missing information or information clarification.
  • Processing all front line correspondence (ex: letters) to customers regarding certificates and the subsequent phone calls that may follow.
  • Accept or deny certificates based on information received as it pertains to our form maximums as well as terms and conditions.
  • Provide pertinent information to our Software Support department as it arises as well as to Dealer Support and Replacements.
  • Notify Quebec dealers when proper disclosures are not received with insurance certificates.
  • Multiple daily and month end reports to assess the integrity of information received.
  • Monthly audits to ensure we have clear electronic copies of all of our dealer remittances.
  • Updates to customer's certificates (address, phone numbers, financing information) as required.
  • Employees may work remotely on a permanent or temporary basis.
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Grade 1
  • Postsecondary education considered an asset, but not required.
  • Will consider two years' experience within the finance or dealership fields in lieu of postsecondary.
  • Basic/Intermediate/Advanced skill with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel).
  • Experience working in AS400, is an asset.
  • Fluent in English with proven skills in verbal and written communication.
  • Fluency in French would be considered an asset not is not required.
  • Keyboarding 65+ words per minute.
