Job Title: Senior Administrator

Job Summary:

  • Coordinate meetings between the OMA and various stakeholders and government officials.
  • Provide administrative support to the government relations team.
  • Create and review documents and presentations for internal and external meetings.
  • Take notes during meetings and assist in logistics coordination.
  • Support activities related to government relations and advocacy.
  • Manage contact systems and assist in monitoring legislative developments.
  • Assist in reporting and project management activities.
  • Process honoraria for physician members.
  • Participate in the Administrative Professionals Forum.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Political Science, Communications, or related field.
  • 3-4 years of administrative experience.
  • Previous experience at Queen's Park or in political campaigns is beneficial.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Interest in Ontario politics and healthcare policy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Experience in Smartsheet is a plus.

Additional Information:
The OMA now operates in a hybrid work environment with some days in the Toronto office.
