The successful team member will be responsible for tasks including but are not limited to:

  • Brewing / Brewhouse operations
  • Cleaning
  • Working with the team to ensure brewing / brewhouse activities are done following all health and safety regulations
  • Ensuring products meet brand quality
  • Also cleaning
  • Assist with quality, verification, food safe storage and traceability of incoming raw materials
  • Assist with implementation and developing new products, pilot brews, and equipment
  • Daily gravity and pH measurements of all active brews
  • Definitely cleaning
  • Draft line cleaning
  • Participation in events and festivals
  • Lifting of grain bags, kegs and other brewery supplies
  • Inventory, ordering, organizing and of course cleaning

Qualifications:

  • 2+ yrs Brewery Experience or formal brewing education
  • Teamwork skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Willing to learn
  • Valid BC drivers license
  • Strong problem solving and mechanical skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours if needed
  • Ability to move 50L kegs (approx 65kg), malt and supply bags
  • Willing to be involved in all brewery related processes
  • Passion, excitement and a love of craft beer

Schedule & Salary Expectations

  • Full time
  • Some weekend and evening work as required
