Overview


VT Controls Ltd is a growing company with an excellent opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager to join our team.

The Finance Manager will analyze financial activities and records, then provide strategies and updates to upper management on future financial plans.


This role will manage the following key areas:

  • Bank institution relations
  • Cashflow management
  • Tax
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Internal system
  • Shareholders management

Key Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of the Finance Manager include, but are not limited to:

  • Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met.
  • Maintain the financial health of the organization
  • Conduct reviews and evaluations for costreduction opportunities.
  • Manage the preparation of the company's budget and cashflow forecasting
  • Liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.
  • Verify systems and processes in place and make changes whenever necessary
  • Interpreting financial information to managerial staff while recommending further courses of action.
  • Adjust protocols or policies to maximize profitability
  • Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company's actual performance compared to the business plans Analyzing industry trends
  • Develop and implement policies for finance and accounting departments
  • Advising on investment activities and provide strategies that the company should take
  • Provide adequate support to finance and accounting teams
  • Manage all data collected by the finance and accounting departments
  • Develop trends and projections for the firm's finances.
  • Supervise the preparation of quarterly and annual account reconciliations, monitor and enforce compliance with tax and financial reporting standards and assist with cash flow forecasting.
  • Correspond with various other departments, discussing company plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken

Education, Training and Certifications

  • BS/MA degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Financial Manager
  • Experience in a financial role in the construction industry is a plus
  • Extensive understanding of financial trends both within the company and general market patterns
  • Proficient user of finance software
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used
  • A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
  • Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations
  • Professional qualification such as CFA/CPA or similar will be considered a plus.
