The Job Opportunity:
Join Maple Leaf Food's Finance team, where you'll dive into analyzing production results, identifying trends, and investigating variances. You'll have the chance to collaborate with individuals at all levels of the organization.

A Glimpse of Your Daily Tasks:
  • Ensure accurate reporting and provide daily and weekly production reports
  • Analyze daily variances, production trends, and offer insights to management
  • Assist in Plant 4-wall SAP project's Bill of Material creation
  • Support the cost estimate process with valuable information
  • Contribute to Six Sigma projects and calculate Six Sigma savings when necessary
  • Participate in the annual budget process, month-end, and weekly forecasting
  • Address ad hoc report requests from plant finance
Requirements for the Role:
  • Post-secondary education in finance/business
  • Over 5 years of progressive manufacturing costing experience in an ERP environment
  • Pursuing or obtained a professional accounting designation (CGA, CA, CMA)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, offering valuable suggestions and recommendations
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of presenting financial information to non-financial teams
  • Familiarity with SAP is beneficial
  • Advanced MS Office skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team, prioritize tasks, and manage changing priorities
  • Comfortable in a manufacturing setting
