The Canadian Paralympic Committee is looking for a bilingual Paralympian/Para athlete to join its Communications & Brand team for the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games as an on-camera host and interviewer.

This role will be an important part of the content team, sharing and celebrating the performances of the Canadian Paralympic Team on the CPC's digital and social channels.

**RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE: - Interviewing athletes in the mixed zone post-competition for use on CPC's digital platforms

  • Producing content (photos/videos) that can be used on the CPC's digital platforms
  • Being an oncamera host on our CPC platforms, talking about the Games and helping to bring the Games back to our fans in Canada
  • Being wellversed in all Paralympic sports and staying knowledgeable on the Canadian Paralympic
  • Contributing to the CPC's Paris Comms & Brand team with input, ideas, and expertise from the athlete perspective
Attending any meetings as required leading up to the Games

**QUALIFICATIONS

Must be a Paralympian or Para athlete:

  • Familiarity with social media platforms
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience on camera hosting or public speaking
  • Team player, positive attitude
  • Must be bilingual (English/French)
  • Must have a valid passport

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • This role is a paid contract position for the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, taking place August 2
  • September 8, 202
  • Training will be provided
