PART-TIME Senior Staff Accountant/ Bookkeeper

We are looking for a Senior Bookkeeper for an exciting opportunity at our company

The role involves handling financial accounting duties, including posting journal entries, overseeing junior bookkeepers, and collaborating with the controller. This is a part-time position that may evolve into a full-time role.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Manage all company finances efficiently
  • Record daily financial transactions accurately
  • Tackle QuickBooks bookkeeping challenges
  • Execute various financial tasks such as vendor payments and payroll processing
  • Lead the bookkeeper/finance team and assist with bank reconciliation

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in bookkeeping and QuickBooks
  • Proficiency in RBC Express is a bonus
  • Ability to work independently and proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail

Job Type: Part-time

Pay Range: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour

Benefits:

Flexible Language Requirement:

  • Fluency in French is not mandatory

Schedule:

  • 8-hour shifts

Supplemental Pay:

  • Additional bonuses

Education:

  • Preferably a Bachelor's degree

Experience:

  • 5 years of QuickBooks experience (preferred)
  • 5 years of Bookkeeping experience (preferred)
