Experienced Respite Caregiver for Adult with

They provide a break to parents of adults with developmental disabilities from caregiving responsibilities and a fun, safe and supervised outing/activity for the adult.
Schedules are based on the caregiver's availability and the family's needs, but usually entail a 4-6 hour long session on a weekday or weekend day or about 3 or 4 hours once or twice a week for 1:1 work with an individual.
Caregivers are required to have a clear criminal record, an Emergency First Aid with CPR certification, references and some training or experience with developmental disabilities.
We are currently hiring an experienced caregiver for a non-verbal adult female with cerebral palsy in the Kilarney area. She enjoys looking at magazines and going for short walks. A physically strong female caregiver is required to assist the individual with some personal care. Caregiver must be available on Saturdays plus occasional evenings.

COVID-19 considerations:
Caregivers are required to wash hands frequently during work. Masks may be required at family's request. Caregivers may also be requested to declare (and provide proof if needed) their C-19 vaccination status.
