Votre rôle

CBC Nova Scotia est à la recherche d'un reporter-rédacteur ou d'une reporter-rédactrice possédant des compétences exceptionnelles pour la réalisation de reportages et pour la rédaction, le montage et la mise en forme de contenus audio, vidéo et écrits destinés aux plateformes numériques et linéaires.

Relevant du réalisateur-coordonnateur Ken Macintosh, vous devrez faire preuve de dynamisme, posséder de grandes compétences pour la réalisation et la présentation de reportages, et avoir un bon réseau de contacts en Nouvelle-Écosse. Les tâches s'effectuent sous la direction de la rédaction, mais on s'attend à ce que vous fassiez preuve d'initiative et de jugement.

Vous aurez à collaborer de près avec les équipes des affectations, de la télévision et de la radio et d'autres équipes responsables de la collecte de l'information. Vous devez comprendre les rouages du choix et de la préparation des photos, des contenus vidéo et audio, et des textes.

Vous avez l'esprit critique et vous êtes constamment à la recherche de solutions dans un environnement au rythme soutenu.

Vous devrez vous conformer aux politiques journalistiques et aux normes et pratiques journalistiques de CBC/Radio-Canada.

Votre travail viendra appuyer la stratégie des Services locaux, et vous aurez à vous concentrer sur trois priorités:
Contenu:
À ce poste, vous vous assurerez que l'ensemble des normes journalistiques de CBC/Radio-Canada sont respectées, que nos reportages sont justes, équilibrés, exacts, sérieux et pertinents, et qu'ils reflètent les communautés que nous servons. Vous approfondirez notre traitement des sujets originaux, d'initiative et d'enquête, et vous veillerez à ce que nous parlions de ce qui importe le plus pour les auditoires de la Nouvelle-Écosse. Vous avez le sens de l'innovation, et vous ferez la promotion de nouveaux traitements de la nouvelle et de nouveaux flux de travail, et contribuerez à créer une diversité de contenus sur nos plateformes de télévision, du web et des médias sociaux. Principales tâches:

- Proposer des sujets originaux sur l'actualité, effectuer des recherches, rédiger et réaliser des reportages - pour les plateformes en ligne et vidéo, les émissions d'affaires publiques, les nouvelles à la radio et les médias sociaux - qui interpelleront et informeront les auditoires, nous permettront d'approfondir nos relations avec les collectivités, et feront entendre toute une gamme de points de vue;
- Présenter régulièrement des reportages en ondes, en fournissant des analyses et du contexte pour aider les auditoires à mieux comprendre les enjeux;
- Réagir rapidement aux nouvelles de dernière heure au fur et à mesure que les événements se produisent;
- Produire des contenus exclusifs et fondés sur le journalisme d'initiative;
- Condenser de grandes quantités d'informations complexes en respectant d'importantes contraintes de temps;
- Capacité de nouer et d'entretenir des relations de travail avec un grand nombre de sources et de contacts, y compris ceux issus de communautés sous-représentées;
- Collaborer avec des collègues pour développer et présenter des nouvelles, planifier des reportages et coordonner la couverture à long term
