Source to Pay - Product Manager

What is the opportunity?


The Product Manager will be responsible for
leading the strategy and business analysis for enhancements to Procurement's Source-to-Pay (S2P) solutions (Ivalua, & Coupa) across RBC enterprise globally and
providing recommendations and propose solutions based on analysis of issues and implications of the business to the Senior Manager of S2P Solutions.

This individual will work with the Director, S2P Product Management to drive change by:

  • Understanding user experience and feedback
  • Leading the business analysis
  • Developing product requirements, and processes
  • Working closely with the delivery team on the design, testing and implementation
  • Communicating new features to stakeholders


You'll collaborate closely with colleagues across Global Procurement, have a willingness to challenge the status quo and an ability to embrace change.


What will you do?

  • Understand customer pain points and validating that solutions address those needs
  • Develops product requirements, and processes to reduce costs, enhance operating efficiencies, and reduce internal risk.
  • Development of customer journey maps to better understand users and improve experience
  • Ensures that requirements have been met through User Acceptance Testing
  • Communicates new features to stakeholders through communications and training for newly delivered enhancements and features.
  • Collaborative & work effectively in teams, with internal and external departments, as well as suppliers

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • 35+ years of proven product management experience
  • High degree of strategic and innovative thinking, experience in driving product strategy and leading technology transformation
  • Superb stakeholder management skills to navigate feedback and to gain buyin to overcome challenges and deliver on high priority initiatives
  • Superb analytical skills, problem solving skills and communication skills with the ability to adjust communications to different stakeholders
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external team members and business partners

Nice-to-have

  • Experience in procurement
  • Source to Pay solution knowledge (i.e. Ivalua, Coupa)
  • Knowledge of Ivalua capabilities and configurations (including Certifications)
  • Knowledge of Coupa capabilities and configurations (including Certifications)
