As the
Modification Team Lead, you will provide team leadership, mentoring and day-to-day guidance to our shop team who are responsible for modifying stock electric motors before they reach our customers.

In this role your
primary job responsibilities will be:

  • Determine alterations to stock electric motors based on customer requirements listed on work orders
  • Perform work on modification jobs including but not limited to:
  • Shaft modification
  • Flange installation
  • Performing vibration testing
  • Installation of rings, seals or bearings
  • Painting motors including epoxy paint
  • Consult with Supervisor to assign work to team members
  • Assist and guide team members with disassembly and reassembly of modification jobs
  • Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures

You will bring:

  • Education or coursework as an electric motor technician; equivalencies will be considered
  • Previous experience performing modifications, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of electric motors or similar experience in a shop environment
  • Basic computer skills including performing entry into shop management software
  • Good attention to detail and a desire to perform highquality work
  • Enjoy finding solutions to difficult problems
  • Interest in keeping up with technological changes
  • Friendly attitude and willingness to help others
  • Strong ability work with machines and tools with excellent handeye coordination
  • Physical endurance and strength to perform required duties including lifting heavy items, more than 25 kilograms

$28.00-$35.00 per hour
