JOB OVERVIEWWe are currently seeking a District Vice President, Wholesaler to join our Sales team.

This role will be based in Nova Scotia and the successful candidate is expected to develop and implement a business plan and sales strategy to increase CI's market share within the Atlantic; develop a territory coverage strategy and communication plan with existing and prospective advisors; and educate and develop advisor knowledge of CI investment solutions.

WHAT YOU WILL DOIncrease sales and grow CI's market shareBuild consultative relationships with Advisors and staffWork closely with Sales Coordinators to implement territory plan, prospect and maintain existing relationships (includes providing guidance and coaching)Fully adopt and effectively use CI's CRM platform to maximize sales results in the territoryMaster CI's investment messageRepresent CI at regional and national conferencesConsistently improve and develop product knowledge, sales skills and efficienciesEffectively leverage senior management in the sales processWork closely with the National Accounts and Internal Wholesalers to identify and execute on specific firm and advisor initiativesUse deliberate, thoughtful scheduling and calendar management in order to maximize client time and to ensure activity corresponds to territory prioritiesWHAT YOU WILL BRING3+ years of sales experience related to the role as an internal, hybrid, or external wholesalerEstablished relationships within the industry is preferredStrong business acumen and demonstrated proficiency in general business disciplinesUniversity degreeCanadian Securities Course (CSC)CFP, CIM or CFA an assetExperience using an assetIn depth investment management and general market knowledgeAble to make quick and appropriate decisions, while working within the regulatory frameworkAbility to build internal partnerships and relationships in a team environmentWORKING CONDITIONSExtensive travel requiredRequired to work beyond normal working hoursCI Financial is an independent company offering global wealth management and asset management advisory services through diverse financial services firms.
