Role & Responsibilities - How You'll Make an Impact:

  • Contribute to the company's success by seeking out the best suppliers and tuning purchasing activities to obtain the most favorable cost, lead time and quality possible.
  • Act as a true business partner in the management of its purchasing categories, partnering with industry leaders in order to be consulted and influence critical sourcing and spending decisions for the organization (market intelligence, tendering, supplier selection, contract negotiation and contract renewals).
  • Ensure a sustainable relationship internally and externally by acting responsibly, transparently and in accordance with corporate and indirect purchasing policies and guidelines.
  • Support internal customer in supplier relationship management, performance evaluation and followup, when required.

Qualities & Skills - What Sets You Apart:

  • A minimum of 5 years experience in purchasing new I&T projects, mainly in supply chain and manufacturing operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in administration or related field.
  • Knowledge of Google/Windows environment (Doc/Word, Sheet/Excel,Slide/Powerpoint), SAP, the complete Ariba suite and Power BI, an asset
