The College of Pharmacists of Manitoba seeks a dynamic individual to work with the Complaints and Discipline team as a Complaints Investigator.


About the Position


Assets include a working knowledge of health-professions legislation, including the Pharmaceutical Act of Manitoba and supporting Pharmaceutical regulations, administrative, organizational and time management skills, and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.


Qualifications

  • Postsecondary degree in pharmacy, law, or other regulated health profession, or a background in law enforcement and investigation
  • Knowledge of administrative law and regulation of selfgoverning professionals
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated discretion and tact in observing privacy and confidentiality policies

Assets

  • National Certified Investigator and Inspector Training (NCIT), as offered by the Council on Licensure, Enforcement and Regulation (CLEAR)

Conditions of
Employment

  • This is a fulltime, permanent position, 8:30 to 4:30, Monday to Friday
  • Overtime may be required on occasion, compensated as time in lieu
  • Work model includes a mix of remote and onsite work; onsite required initially to effectively accomplish training and collaboration
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Must have access to vehicle for independent transportation within Manitoba
  • Satisfactory criminal record check
