We are now hiring a Produce Manager at our Kitchener location

Summary:

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with our affiliated company, Roseland, and Vendors to enhance programs and ensuring local market relevance
  • Strategically manage pricing to ensure we are competitive in the market and also maximizing profits
  • Accelerate produce sales growth through a data & insights driven approach
  • Collaborate with Sales Team to grow market share and expand penetration
  • Partner with Marketing team to develop and implement innovative produce marketing/promotional agendas
  • Work closely with QA/Inventory Team, Warehouse and Transportation to ensure the integrity of all inbound and outbound produce
  • Manage and direct effective control of produce shrink
  • Prepare reports and presentations for management meetings as required
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Marketing or Sales role within Foodservice preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years' produce industry experience preferred
  • Strong technical skills and experience conducting data analysis
  • Ability to build effective relationships across multiple areas of the Company
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize opportunities and develop actionable strategic plans
  • Strong time management skills, and ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
  • Class G Driver's license and use of a personal vehicle for work related travel required
