  • Ottawa, ON, CA (must be within commuting distance), Monday-Wednesday in office working days

Schedule:

  • Business hours up to 30 hours/week; flexible based on school schedule.

Pay:

  • CA$18/hour
Student must be in a current college or university internship program.

YOU'LL GET TO...

  • Get a handle on what makes our target audience tick.
  • Research industryrelated trends, pain points and find thought leaders who are influential with our audience.
  • Write and produce a wide variety of engaging and persuasive content for:
  • Create writing style guidelines and messaging briefs.
  • Monitor analytics and metrics to gauge success of social media posts and ad campaigns
  • Research social media trends and hashtags that relate to a target audience's interests
  • Manage a social media content calendar for various channels, planning and scheduling posts in advance
  • Maintain a cohesive social media strategy across various channels to achieve high levels of user engagement
  • Create, manage, and publish original and highquality content across various social media platforms
  • Analyze data and metrics to create weekly and monthly reports on web traffic, user engagement, and ROI
  • Manage all company social media accounts to ensure relevant, uptodate content Respond directly to comments and questions on social media posts

  • Must be detailoriented, with effective organizational and project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects/tasks and deadlines simultaneously in a fastpaced, deadlinedriven environment.
  • Must be a selfstarter, with the ability to work well under pressure, and have solid problemsolving, judgment and decisionmaking skills.
  • High level of creativity and "rolled up sleeves" working style.
  • Flexibility to work independently and as a team player.
  • Proficiency with social media management platforms
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices is an Asset
  • Completing a Diploma in Public Relations, Advertising, or Communications
