Key Responsibilities:

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Help support 200+ employees in the Toronto and surrounding offices
  • Offer additional remote support to approximately 400 employees in other offices across Canada
  • Workstation set up and user orientation
  • Assist Network & Systems Administrators in deployment and maintenance of network systems and servers
  • Communicate with managers and staff to understand business needs, promote utilization of systems, and achieve adherence to standards

Professional Qualifications:

EDUCATION

  • Diploma or Degree in ITrelated studies from accredited college or university, or equivalent experience
  • Microsoft/Networking Certifications an asset

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 2 years relevant experience
  • Experience supporting CAD or Engineering software an asset
  • Experience supporting a large number of users in a fast paced environment

SKILLS

  • Microsoft desktop and server operating systems
  • Virtualisation technologies, e.g. VMware
  • Microsoft software, e.g. Office 365, SkypeforBusiness, Exchange, Systems Center, Dynamics CRM
  • Knowledge of Active Directory and networking
  • Experience troubleshooting mobile devices (Tablets, Smartphones, etc.).
  • Knowledge of backup and imaging procedures and tools
  • Selfstarter that works efficiently as part of a team and independently
  • Ability to interact professionally with all levels of business personnel and build strong working relationships
  • Analytical problem solving ability
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Customerfocused mindset
  • Enthusiasm for technology
