POSITION TITLE:
Customer Service Representative

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Answer phones in a consistent and pleasant manner
  • Have a professional demeanor in appearance and actions
  • Write up orders and follow company policies regarding order requirements
  • Process payments accurately following company polices
  • Provide a point of contact for customers with order status inquires, changes and issues
  • Liaise with the sales team regarding orders and customer issues
  • Communicate with suppliers for stock, production and shipping times
  • Follow up for sample and stock requests
  • Assist in the receiving of orders and stock with an eye for damage or shortages
  • Assist with shipping orders and sales product in a timely and cost effective manner
  • Learn the product lines on the job and by self study

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS:

  • Completed High School Degree
  • 1+ years previous Customer Service experience
  • Basic level of Microsoft Word & Excel
  • Intermediate level typing skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High degree of organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Comfortable working with alpha numeric codes
  • Able to move quickly and lift 40 lbs. multiple times
  • Able to negotiate stairs and ladders with ease
  • Ability to organize & prioritize
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Can work alone and in a team environment
