Manually pick full-case orders and stack them onto pallets using a scanner/tablet Ensure proper staging and identification once an order has been completely picked Use various pieces of equipment (manual pallet jack, electric pallet jack, reach truck, and propane lift) to move pallets Verify quantities, quality of items and proper labeling of products that are being shipped Examine all packaging and contents of items for conformance to customer specifications and verify all information against the packing list and SAP Coordinate with other departments such as customer service, production, instant and small pack Complete shipping box assembly, shipping box induction for packing, and shipping label preparation and application Complete trailer loading of packed boxes and pallets Identify items with a quantity discrepancy and promptly communicate with Supervisor and/or Lead Maintain the 5S cleanliness of the picking area and pull completed shrink-wrapped orders to the dock for LTL packers Follow all safety procedures and policies Follow all warehouse procedures and policiesPosition Details:
The main work location for this position will be Mississauga (Tomken Rd./Eglinton . Periodically, the role will be required to work at the Mississauga (Tranmere Dr./Drew location, based on business requirements Candidate must reside in: Greater Toronto Area Work week and shift: Day shift, Monday to Friday 6:00am – 2:30pm. Periodically, you may be scheduled for the afternoon shift, based on business requirements OR Afternoon Shift, Monday to Friday 2:30pm – 11:00pm. Periodically, you may be scheduled for the day shift, based on business requirements Contract: This is a 6 month contractMinimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or . required 3 years logistics experience 3 years reach lift fork truck experience Fork truck certification or ability to be certified Must be able to accurately perform basic mathematical calculations Must be able to follow both written and verbal directions No immigration sponsorship is available for this rolePhysical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry 50lbsPreferred Qualifications:
