Situated inDowntown Banff, our busy Head Office coordinates and supports the activities of our hotels, restaurants, spas, cinema, and retail outlets.
Join our team as a Revenue & Yield Coordinator contributing to the day to day administration of revenue, yield and inventory operations in a busy Revenue and Sales department. We are looking for a person who is motivated, curious, and growth driven. The successful candidate will be involved with a variety of tasks and projects including but not limited to rate loading, inventory management, maintenance of rate parity and content across all selling channels.
Your Responsibilities will include:
- Assist in monitoring hotel occupancy level and room-type availability for all properties
- Build and maintain rates, packages, nightly minimums and quotas in the PMS
- Assist in managing inventory for wholesale companies, includes weekly freesell report.
- Monitor systems (Booking Engine, Channel Manager, Extranets, etc) to ensure they are fully operational.
- Work with OTA companies to maintain systems setups, content presentation and rate parity
- Assist with the identification and resolution of any general functional issues/queries regarding rate and inventory set-up
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly and monthly STR submissions for all properties
- Completes other tasks and projects as needed to support the Revenue Team
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of experience within the hotel and tourism industry
- Highly computer literate with experience using Microsoft Office tools, in particular Microsoft Excel
- Ability to quickly learn new technology, processes, and programs when required
- A natural love of numbers and analytics would be considered an asset
- Strong "can-do" attitude with willingness to be flexible and adaptable
