Our client is a leading Tier 1 automotive parts manufacturer based in Vaughan that is currently seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • University degree/college diploma or completion of career-related courses
  • Certified Quality Engineer preferred
  • Three to five years of automotive auditing experience

Preference given to candidates with Six Sigma Blackbelt, Red X Journeyman, or Technician background.

  • Three to five years in a technical quality role
  • Knowledge of Quality concepts: APQP, DFMEA, PFMEA, PPAP, SPC, Root cause analysis, DFSS

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate project expectations to Suppliers
  • Maintain Quality Records and documentation
  • Assist suppliers in troubleshooting and ensuring timely PPAP
  • Monitor supplier products for Engineering changes
  • Conduct technical supplier evaluation and risk assessment
  • Lead Corrective action initiatives at Supplier locations
