Automotive Service Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of technicians and perform diagnostics, repair, and maintenance on customer cars.
  • Gather information from customers and diagnose the problems they are experiencing with their cars.
  • Write reports to document work performed and communicate with customers.
  • Advise customers if further repair work is needed after the initial service appointment.
  • Plan service schedules for the shop.
  • Teach other employees how to carry out basic car repairs.
  • Complete vehicle modifications according to customers' requests.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

  • Bonus pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Truro, NS: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

  • Management: 1 year (required)
  • Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
