The team member will have the opportunity to be our front line of customer service at within our office location.
Main duties will be mainly accounting based including receiving, invoicing, bank deposits, accounts receivables/payables, paying bills, payroll, and reconciliation of accounts.
Other duties will be greeting visitors, arranging pickups/deliveries, and maintaining office supplies and organization. This role will also support our other staff with duties as required.Salary:
$17.00 to $19.00 /hour, depending on experience.
Approximately 30 hours per week.
Prior Preferred Experience:
- Experience in an office environment
- Background in Accounting is an asset
Required skill sets:
- Organizational skills
- Remain positive in a high pressure environment
- Valid drivers license and personal vehicle
- Professional acumen
- Will work from our Edmonton office, Monday to Friday
- Core Hours of 11am3pm with flexibility to start early or end later
Optional:
- Additionally, although not required, will have two years of post secondary education and experience in an office environment.
- Possible future opportunity to work toward becoming a licensed property manager with the Real Estate Council of Alberta.
- Accounts receivables/payables
- Reconciliation of Bank Accounts
- Data entry in to our software system
- Complete payroll monthly and submit government remittances
- Support Broker and Property Managers
- Review reports on a monthly cycle for accuracy
- Some offsite travel is required, mileage is paid
- Other duties as required
