In this role, you will help bring to life the Bank's "Positive Impact" mission in investment and financial planning focused on strategic advice to clients on debt management, investments and insurance.


You will be responsible for positioning National Bank as a financial group that listens to its clients and is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to grow our market share in the investment sector.

As the leader of a team of managers, you will mobilize your managers to collaborate with internal partners, more specifically:
The Regional Vice-Presidents of the Individual network, BNI, FBN and GP1859.


Reporting to the Vice-President Investment, you will mobilize a team of Financial Planning Directors seasoned in financial planning in their daily management of Financial Planners.


Your role

  • Manage a seasoned team of Directors, Financial Planners by offering them personalized coaching to develop their skills and support them on a daily basis in their management and career path
  • Engage your team by fostering a culture of advice and customer service
  • Implement and act as an integrator of initiatives fostering a culture of crosssectoral collaboration
  • Work closely with Regional Vice-Presidents to establish strategies for comprehensive customer care to maximize business development opportunities
  • Hold meetings on a regular basis to support the team at the business development and board level and conduct regular and rigorous monitoring of results and portfolios
  • Develop and facilitate training and codevelopment forums and workshops to promote the exchange of best practices and contribute to the enhancement of the team's skills
  • Ensure operational quality across the industry, including compliance with regulatory standards, compliance and privacy policies
  • Contribute to the VP Investment Management Committee

Competencies required

  • Bachelor's degree related to the sector of activity and 10 years of relevant experience or Master's degree related to the sector of activity and 8 years of relevant experience:
  • Strong and proven experience in managing business development teams.
  • Relevant experience in banking, more specifically in the investment sector and financial planning
  • Hold the title of financial planner
  • Strong Demonstrated negotiation skills, influence
