DISTRICT OVERVIEW:

  • HR Operations is an integral partner and service provider at Kiewit. In recent years, we have gone from decentralized HR groups to a unified, shared service team, with various HR Centers of Excellence. Our vision is to be a bestinclass international HR organization.

LOCATION:

  • This position is based out of Edmonton Alberta. This is a shared service center in a professional office setting.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manages employee changes, special pays, employee updates, Tuition Reimbursement requests, and report requests
  • Plans and conducts new hire orientation (inperson and remote sessions)
  • Interfaces with Centers of Excellence partners to assist in the administration and support of employee issues and problems
  • Quickly and accurately resolves cases in a professional, sensitive, customerfocused manner in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Escalates complex cases to achieve resolution
  • Maintains a high degree of confidentiality

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 03 years of Human Resources experience
  • Degree in Human Resources or related preferred
  • Knowledge of various areas of human resources including benefits, employment, payrelated practices/process, and compensation
  • Ability to thrive in a highvolume, fastpaced, Shared Service / Center of Excellence office environment
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong problemsolving skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems a plus
  • Ability to work with a diverse group of employees and individuals
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple projects
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently or with a team
