We are looking for a Data, Voice and Video Network Manager who will be responsible for strategic planning, technology transition and transformation, and oversight of service providers' delivery and support of ATCO's data, voice and video (conference room) networks and services.

This role will create and maintain a strategic roadmap for ATCO's overall network environment, initiate and oversee technology transformation over time in alignment to the strategic plan, and ensure proactive and responsive support is maintained for all data, voice and video networks and services.

The role will ensure network technology at ATCO evolves over time leveraging best-in-class solutions for all in-scope technology.

The Data, Voice and Video Network Manager position will report to Infrastructure Management.

What You Get To Do:

  • Oversee daytoday operations of the ATCO data/voice/video network by managed service providers and 3rd party partners. This will include development and implementation of operational governance processes.
  • Ongoing evaluation of ATCO's current state network technology including delivery, management and support technologies against evolving industry technology and best practices.
  • Working with Technology business support teams and business units, maintain awareness of current and longterm business requirements for network technology and support.
  • Leveraging awareness of industry bestofbreed technology, ATCO current state, and business requirements, develop a multiyear strategy for the progression of network technology and support and maintain this strategic plan with annual updates.
  • Develop multiyear strategy execution roadmaps in collaboration with Technology business support and architecture teams and supplier partners; produce annual network technology plans including project roadmap and budgets. Working with ATCO and service provider project resources, initiate and oversee execution of projects required to achieve the objectives of the annual technology plan.
  • Provide communications artifacts describing longterm strategies and annual execution plans, communicate strategic and tactical plans within the ATCO IT organization and across ATCO. Guide stakeholders in understanding industry changes and impact of those changes on the business and technology in ATCO.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with service provider(s), suppliers, ATCO IT stakeholders and business stakeholders and establish productive communication channels.
  • Work with ATCO Service Management team and ensure network management complies with ATCO ITIL standards and processes. Also work with service providers and the ATCO Service Management team to maintain uptodate catalog of network related services.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with hardware and software suppliers and maintain current awareness of supplier product lines including features and function.
  • Ensure lifecycle management of all network infrastructure is maintained so that access to new features and functions and vendor support is not disrupted. Order hardware and/or software, or facilitate order of materials by service provider, as required.
  • Work with service providers to introduce delivery and support service changes as required by business stakeholders or as enabled by evolving technology.

Who You Are:

  • A bachelor's degree or technical diploma in Network Technology along with ITIL certification is preferred.
  • 10+ years of IT industry experience, 710 years of direct network implementation and management experience, 35 years of network strategy development.
  • Strong customer focus recognizing that client success and satisfaction is the most important objective.
  • Experience operating in ITIL environment in adherence to ITIL processes.
  • Expertise in current SD WAN/LAN router and switching technology and design.
  • Experience implementing and operating VOIP and AV technology.
  • Experience with Microsoft Teams, Voice and Teams Rooms technology and operations would be an asset.
  • Experience implementing and operating global networks
  • Experience is maintaining highly available networks with route diversity and redundant configurations.
  • Experience interacting with major telecom providers including negotiation, contract & service management and escalations.
  • Knowledgeable of business/technology trends
