Basetwo is a fast growing Toronto-based startup backed by Boeing and some of the top VCs in the Boston, Toronto and Bay Area ecosystems.
Our platform is a cloud-based SaaS that enables manufacturing engineers to rapidly design, build and operationalize "digital twins" in order to optimize their production processes.
Using Basetwo, engineers can rapidly simulate critical manufacturing equipment in order to understand behavior, improve KPIs, and mitigate operational failures.
Job Summary
We're hiring a Growth Marketing Lead.
As our first internal marketing hire, you will work closely with the CEO and Head of Sales and will be responsible for building and deploying our digital marketing infrastructure with the support of our advisors and external agencies.
Specifically, you will lead the development and execution of our inbound marketing automation/campaigns, as well as supervise external teams working on content writing, SEO programs and web design/development.
This role requires a strong background in demand generation, growth marketing, and digital marketing, as well as the ability to manage external teams.
What You'll Do
- Inbound Marketing Infrastructure:
- Build and deploy inbound marketing strategies, such as marketing automation workflows and campaigns, to drive lead generation, nurturing, and conversion.
- Analyze campaign performance data to optimize targeting, engagement, and conversion rates.
- Demand Generation:
- Supervise our content writing team, ensuring the creation of highquality, engaging content that aligns with the company's brand and resonates with the target audience.
- Collaborate with our SEO program team to develop and implement effective SEO strategies, ensuring the website and content are optimized for search engines and driving organic traffic.
- Supervise our web development team, ensuring the timely delivery of webrelated projects and assets (i.e. landing pages, downloadable resources, and web forms) to support marketing campaigns and lead generation efforts.
- Collaborate with our design team for the creation of marketing graphics
- Targeted Outbound Support:
- Work with our Head of Sales to conduct targeted persona research to identify potential customers and decisionmakers
- Develop and execute eventdriven outbound outreach strategies to convert prospects into sales qualified leads
Requirements:
Tools you are familiar with:
- Hubspot
- Google Ads, Google Analytics
- LinkedIn Ads
- Semrush, or equivalent for keyword research and analysis
- Expandi, PhantomBuster or equivalent LinkedIn automation tools
- SalesNavigator
- Bonus points for Webflow
What we're looking for:
- Experience with marketing B2B software is a MUST
years of marketing experience, with at least 2 years in a growth marketing capacity at a startup or tech company.
- Someone who is tech savvy, scrappy/resourceful and creative. We want you to test ideas quickly and efficiently.
- Experience with most of the tools listed above.
