Detailed Overview:
Under the general direction of the Manager, Clinical Services, the Neuropsychologist will provide a full range of neuropsychological services.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive assessments of client functioning.
- Conduct assessments using various modalities.
- Offer consultation to colleagues on assessment and treatment issues.
- Maintain confidential client records and write accurate reports.
- Supervise psychology students and interns.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, two years of related experience in neuropsychological assessment, and current registration with the College of Psychologists of British Columbia.
Skills and Abilities:
- Demonstrated knowledge of developmental theories, treatment modalities, and testing.
- Ability to prepare comprehensive written assessments.
- Sound knowledge of service delivery systems.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
