Detailed Overview:

Under the general direction of the Manager, Clinical Services, the Neuropsychologist will provide a full range of neuropsychological services.


Responsibilities:

  1. Provide comprehensive assessments of client functioning.
  2. Conduct assessments using various modalities.
  3. Offer consultation to colleagues on assessment and treatment issues.
  4. Maintain confidential client records and write accurate reports.
  5. Supervise psychology students and interns.
  6. Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, two years of related experience in neuropsychological assessment, and current registration with the College of Psychologists of British Columbia.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of developmental theories, treatment modalities, and testing.
  • Ability to prepare comprehensive written assessments.
  • Sound knowledge of service delivery systems.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work.
  • Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
