Job Title: Neuropsychologist

Fraser Health is seeking a highly skilled Neuropsychologist to join our team.

Job Summary

The Neuropsychologist will be responsible for providing a full range of neuropsychological services, including assessment and evaluation of clients with cognitive and behavioral disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive oral and written assessments of client functioning, including intellectual, neuropsychological, and psychological evaluations.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to address client needs and goals.
  • Provide consultation to colleagues on assessment and treatment issues.
  • Supervise psychology students and interns as required.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology.
  • Two years' recent, related experience in neuropsychological assessment and experience in administration and interpretation of neuropsychological assessments in clients with severe mental illness and experience in geriatrics.

Current registration with the College of Psychologists of British Columbia (CPBC).

Skills and Abilities

Demonstrated knowledge of developmental theories, family and social dynamics, treatment and behavior management modalities, psychological and neuropsychological testing and interpretation.

Ability to prepare comprehensive written assessments.

Demonstrated knowledge of relevant legislation.

Demonstrated sound knowledge of the service delivery systems at the local, regional and provincial level.

Demonstrated ability in implementing policies and procedures.

Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Ability to deal effectively with others.

Ability to plan, organize and prioritize work.

Ability to operate related equipment.

Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
