You'll thrive here if you:

  • Have processed payroll across multiple places in North America this is so you have a holistic perspective of what Payroll Compliance actually means. Not just someone who has processed payroll before but who understands the nuances between different provinces and states, and how to make sure our customers stay compliant through our software. • Work well both as a team member and individually.
  • Are not afraid of taking initiative and can function with autonomy in your work while still being able to get your work done on a deadline without compromising quality.
  • Notice the spelling mistake in this posting because the smaller details really stand out to you (just kidding, there isn't one, but we do really need someone detail oriented).

Ideally, you would bring:

  • 3+ years of payroll experience working in either payroll processing, employment tax filings, or a prior payroll compliance research role, ideally in a software technology company.

  • Have exceptional communication skills.
  • Highly organized and focused with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Are not afraid of taking initiative and can function with autonomy in your work while still being able to get your work done on a deadline without compromising quality.
